A clue for 449 is An Italian actress acting in an American film..
  • Further clue for 449 is a famous actress appearing in a now obscure film set in southern California.
  • Hmmm, didn't think the film was all that obscure.

Are you thinking the same film though?
  • When I type italian actresses, the top 3 returned are Monica Bellucci, Sophia Loren and Claudia Cardinale.
Based off my guess of era of film (I have no idea what the film actually is) Claudia Cardinale is my guess as the eras dont line up on the other two.
    Am I even warm?

Spot on and well done with your guess in naming 449 to be indeed Claudia Cardinale. The film scene featured being from Don't Make Waves from 1967.

  • Yes, that was my thought.  I had already answered one, so I was giving others a chance.

100% correct and well done. Walk On The Wild Side from 1962. Anne Baxter seen appearing on the top left hand side of the image.

  • A clue for 450 is later in her career won a best actress Academy award.
  • I think 450 is Geraldine Page in Sweet Bird of Youth.  She should have won the Oscar for this one.

It certainly is her, so well done. It was a tough year with the winner Anne Bancroft giving a great performance. Geraldine Page was certainly a great actress who did later win a best actress Academy Award for her performance in the 1985 film A Trip To Bountiful.    Fondly remembered by me for her participation in 1953's Hondo, Sweet Bird of Youth was from 1962,

  •  452  453
Two more well known lovely ladies to identify.
  • 452 is Julia Robert's in Mystic Pizza. Movie is now mostly forgotten, but worth another look.

Well spotted. Mystic Pizza from 1988

  • An indirect clue for 453 is S'wonderful.

  • Another clue for 453 is pistol.
  • Well, the s'wonderful clue points toward Funny Face or An American in Paris, but that went nowhere.  Neither did looking at Audry Hepburn or Leslie Caron.  Then you threw in pistol.  Audry did brandish a pistol in several films, notably Wait Until Dark.  Nada, but I didn't expect this as you have used her several times in this quiz.

Guess I'll sit back and let it mature.  But you all can see some of my process.

i do appreciate you working on the two clues provided. As this image is turning out to be a very difficult one to find the answer for, two new clues follow.
S'wonderful is performed at the start of the film.
Pistol is a part name credit of the character the actress plays in the film
  • So, I'm stupid.  I kinda knew about that song reference from the Wikipedia link, but didn't follow up.  Looked up that film on imdb and it was right there

Correct for 453. Kiss Me Stupid from 1964. You got there in the end which is the main thing so well done. Kim Novak was included in the film's credits as being Polly The Pistol, and interesting Dean Martin's character was Dino.
