Hehehe Sven and Dave..the skirt and colour looks good!
Thanks - 190mm Victorian style, looks nice, the floor is a bit wonky; still, better now the wood is down rather than the concrete/carpet that was there before. Shop opening not far away now...I guess...I hope...so tired - almost don't care!
Not really. My wife is opening a furniture & interiors shop (technically we are) - I am the hired labourer for the past six weeks or so as we renovate the shop (seems like replace is a better word).
Thank you. 10+ containers of furniture and interiors sitting in the warehouse, it either is going to work or we have some very nice furniture for the house...for the next 100 or so years!
Well i received a poster from the USA today, bought through ebay, but an empty tube. The end caps were in but not taped or no signs of tape... bugger. Well guess i will see if they can send another but doubt they have it. Ahhh paypal case...

Sorry to hear that, Sven. Did you file a report with Australia Post?

I received an empty tube once. The seller said he could only give me a refund if I filed a report with Australia Post. When I picked up the tube from the Post Office it was quite obvious that there was nothing inside so I had already reported it and advised the seller.
When these things happen you should always file a report so that there is some independent proof that the poster was missing. That way the seller can take it up with Australia Post and possibly claim on insurance. It is always possible that a postal worker could have opened the package and these things should be investigated. If there is no report then nothing will be done.
But the weight on the customs form indicates nothing was in there to start with...if there was SOMETHING in the tube, the weight then and now would be different.
Many sellers just guess the weight, particularly if they only need to fill in the green customs form. Its hard to believe that the seller would have forgotten to put anything in the tube. It seems more likely to me that someone removed the poster in transit.
Guess i wont know for sure but here is what i purchased. Jaws one sheet for 12 USD! Sold the day before for 323USD. Same image used but there is another poster sitting behind that jaws poster.
Oh well would have been amazing to land that fish!!

Let us know when it opens...my sister and her girlfriends love all that stuff, will let them know!
FARK! That sucks...be sure to let us know who to avoid if they don't make it right.
Sorry that happened to you...can you share which poster?

Tubes without tape...yes, but luckily the poster was inside...usually sellers who don't normally sell posters.
If the parcel was insured, you could lodge a claim through aust post, but if you got the full refund, it really becomes the sellers problem.
Leave the negative feedback and move on...

They don't fill in the weight for any of my packages. They leave that to me!
Do you get yours picked up?
Hmmm...this and the fact that it was a BIN, me thinks never got sent...if they had two, would have sold for more than the 12 odd bucks.
Seems to happen way too often to be a sincere mistake...
