I'd be surprised if there aren't a bunch of daybills from the 80s and 90s of Australian films with product placement. Especially some Tony Ginnane or John Lamond features.
Mainly remembered for his comedy roles rather than the above rare early dramatic film role..I am really surprised that the actor hasn't been recognised.
Yes it is Kenneth Williams as featured in a scene from The Seekers 1954 film. A dramatic role performed before his Carry On and other comedy roles career direction happened.
While you ponder the identity of the previously featured actress another image to add here. Does anyone recognise this actor? You may need to think outside the box though.
Not a stand in for Rita Hayworth. She was though an actress that happened to look very much like her. This should help in identifying her.
The actress in question is Mary Castle who was signed to a contract by Columbia Pictures due to her striking resemblance to Rita Hayworth. She acted in films and on television between 1948 and 1962.

Not best remembered for being an actor, but for being very successfully involved in the film industry in a number of other important behind the camera positions.
The above image is of Blake Edwards as he appeared in the 1949 western film Panhandle. Apart from some early minor acting roles he was of course renowned as being a very famous film producer, director and writer.
