It is violent, but as you say expected due to the subject matter. But look beyond that and enjoy what is in my opinion one of the best performances Bana has given. You can see why Hollywood came knocking....
Interestingly when the film was originally classified in Australia with an R18+ certificate, it was advised according to the Australian Classification website that it contained medium level violence. Not mentioning strong violence is something I suppose.
If and when I get an opportunity to do so I will view the film.
I also am a fan of Eric Bana and looking forward to seeing his Force of Nature: The Dry 2 early next year in the cinemas..

Two very different film genre entries presented here this time around.
An expanded image for C366 hopefully will now be able to provide the answer.
And for C367 the question here is what is in the skies?
Two new images that may or may not challenge you.
Hopefully the slight extending out of the two images can possibly assist?
Two film images this time around that are so completely different in depicting how some people live their lives.

Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour in a scene from this enjoyable romantic fantasy time travel film.
Correct. Chopper from 2000. I have never had any desire to see this film.
Knowing the history of the film's subject the violent content had deterred me from seeing it in the past.
If and when I get an opportunity to do so I will view the film.

Two more images to present here for your next challenge,
I am surprised that no one was able to come up with the answer for C372. The setting I had thought would have helped.
The answer is The Year Of Living Dangerousl,y which was released in 1982,
