    C355 a Fistfull of Dollars

Correct. A Fistfull Of Dollars from 1964. I was confident this one would be answered promptly, and it was.

  • c356. An Affair to Remember
  • c356. An Affair to Remember
Correct. An AffairTo Remember from 1957. A charming scene that remains in one's mind.

  •  C357
     C358
     C359
     C360
Four images this time around, all with something in common.

At least two of them, perhaps three, should be easily recognised.

The other one though perhaps will be a little more difficult, unless you recognise the actor in the centre of the image.
  • 360 - Vertigo?

C360 is indeed Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo from 1958.

  • C359 is To Catch a Thief

Both are correct answers. To Catch A Thief from 1955 and Topkapi from 1964.

Topkapi probably isn't that well known, but if anyone hasn't seen it yet, it certainly is worthwhile chasing up.

  • C358 is Charade

Correct. Charade from 1963. The Cary Grant and George Kennedy's characters thrilling rooftop fight scene.

  •  C361
     C362
Another two images to present to you.
  • C362 - The Day of the Locust (1975) - and I'd hazard a guess that the person featured in this shot is a clue for C361

    Peter
  • C362 - The Day of the Locust (1975) - and I'd hazard a guess that the person featured in this shot is a clue for C361
Correct. The suggested person in the image being possibly a clue for C361 though isn't so. There isn't any link between the current two posted images.

By the way the man in the image is director, producer and occasional actor Willian Castle. Excellent piece of casting here.

  •  C361
A clue is a promising career sidetracked for a period of time..
  • The above C361 scene was well used to publicise the film when originally released.
  • I knew I'd seen that image before - The Servant (1963)

    Peter
  • I knew I'd seen that image before - The Servant (1963)
    Correct.

My earlier clue of '' a promising career sidetracked for a period of time'' referred to the film's American director Joseph Losey. He was unwilling to attend and be questioned before the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1951. He then exiled himself instead and headed to Great Britain where he established a successful  career there.

  •  C363  C364 Two more images to have a think about. A great image included above for fans of the previously popular Screening Venues'' thread.
  • The only classic subway movie I know is The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3 so I will go with that on C363

  • I was thinking of that, also The Warriors which has subway scenes.

Unfortunately the answer for C363 isn't correct for either one of these two films.

A major studio film that has an about to be a superstar also appearing in the acene.
  • Got it! Saturday Night Fever (1977).

    Peter
  • Got it! Saturday Night Fever (1977).

Correct. A larger lobby card image below. I had thought my clue would ring a bell..

  •  C364
This film is so present here currently on the forum.
  • A final clue for C364 is that a famous sex symbol actress is sitting in the car.
  • Ok, much searching had me look in imdb listing for hatari.  Under connections, it shows the film Contempt (1963) with Bridget Bardot and Jack Palance.  An image search for that film finally found gold.  Phew!

  • P.s.  Nice early Alfa roadster

Correct. Well done for continuing in pursuing this one.

The image on the left hand side of this poster displays the scene that has been under discussion recently on Hondo's Daybill And One Sheet Q & A. thread.
  •  C365
Someone is performing in the centre of this scene, Do you know who?
  • Yep.  Sissy Spacek playing Loretta Lynn in Coal Miners Daughter
