I knew I'd seen that image before - The Servant (1963)
Correct.
My earlier clue of '' a promising career sidetracked for a period of time'' referred to the film's American director Joseph Losey. He was unwilling to attend and be questioned before the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1951. He then exiled himself instead and headed to Great Britain where he established a successful career there.
The only classic subway movie I know is The Taking of Pelham 1,2,3 so I will go with that on C363

Ok, much searching had me look in imdb listing for hatari. Under connections, it shows the film Contempt (1963) with Bridget Bardot and Jack Palance. An image search for that film finally found gold. Phew!

Correct. A Fistfull Of Dollars from 1964. I was confident this one would be answered promptly, and it was.
Four images this time around, all with something in common.
At least two of them, perhaps three, should be easily recognised.
The other one though perhaps will be a little more difficult, unless you recognise the actor in the centre of the image.
C357 maybe Topkapi

Topkapi probably isn't that well known, but if anyone hasn't seen it yet, it certainly is worthwhile chasing up.
Another two images to present to you.
Peter
By the way the man in the image is director, producer and occasional actor Willian Castle. Excellent piece of casting here.
A clue is a promising career sidetracked for a period of time..
