@HereComesMongo gotta hand it to ya. I think it takes self restraint to pay to have a poster linenbacked, and not have all the imperfections from time fixed. It looks really cool!

The forums are listed on the Resources page of MPC.guide, but it matters little. I’m the only serious/advanced - pretentious! -to post on Reddit and there’s very little interest in serious MPC topics. There is a TIDAL WAVE of love for current release MPs but only a tiny fraction will buy them. They're SOMETIMES impressed by pics of FRAMED classic posters and I'm one of the few framers in MPC World.
All I can really do is make them aware that classic posters exist and try to educate them via MPC.guide. A tiny fraction will develop a serious interest in the hobby and venture into MPC forums. "As is" they might post 1-2 times here ("Where can I buy a Jumanji poster?") and disappear forever.
I did encourage APFers to "dual post" on Reddit but that was all wrong, would just flood Reddit with unwanted poster threads that would bomb.
"No one would have believed in the middle of the 20th Century that human affairs were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than Man's."
Zowie! I dig them all and (amazingly) do not have any of those (yet) in any size! How do you know that SHE MONSTER is the last of its size? AWESOME that you have that baby. I've always loved the art. BRAVO! Well done! CHEERS!
My sis moved to England 15 years ago. She has two super-blondie kids with ridiculously “posh†Brit accents, which us wretched colonials swoon over. But my sis still has an ordinary US accent but has adapted dubious Brit spellings like “realise.†So sad....
I actually researched years ago when/how the accents diverged. Not much out there but the seemingly best one said that in the 1800s for some reason it became fashionable in London not to pronounce the Rs in words. So wa-ter became wa-tah. It caught on throughout the British Empire, so now there is a non-rhotic vs.rhotic split.
Ummm, you know the English spelling was first? It was you lot that went ahead and thought you could improve on it. It started with Noah Webster (Webster's Dictionary) who thought he should make America great again by changing the way words were normally spelled to help solidify its independence from the British.
Personally I often hear a little of the Irish accent in many American accents...
Finally got the exquisite "The Killers" (1956rr) partially-restored/lbacked and randomly perched it on one wall. No planning at all but then I realized the four - GWTW is a 1970rr Japan B1 BTW - had to have a common theme. But what?
How about "What the American public always wants is a tragedy with a happy ending." (William Dean Howells - 1919). But I've only seen GWTW, which definitely meets that maxim. Better suggestions?

I'm the world's worst photographer but this was a difficult shot, reflections, limited space.

The quite rare 1956rr is vastly superior to the originall release!

Poster Mountain's pic. I deliberately kept the tape stains and paper loss unrestored, apropos for such a disreputable movie poster subject.

I'm the only "advanced" MP collector posting there, although there are 20+ million subscribers.

My usual "success" rate applies: 70% bomb, 20-25% get some likes/comments, and 5-10% fare well. TOTALLY impossible to predict reaction.

Answering your Q, I probably should have checked EMP/HA's records, just call it "movie poster nerd license."
