Angel Baby Australian One Sheets
Little help.
It is my understanding this poster is for the video release:
And I am thinking this FINALLY is for the theatrical release in Australia...the lack of ratings has me doubting myself:

Thoughts?

The above poster is a ''First Release Home Entertainment'' company video poster. What I do find interesting is the notation of '' Nominated for 7 AFI Awards Inc. Best FIlm". One would have thought by the time of the video release the poster would have read ''Winner of 7 AFI Awards".
This is a most interesting poster. Ves pointed out that there is no film classification rating on the poster which is a worry, but to me an original first release poster wouldn't have had the "'Winners! Australian Film Institute Awards'' printed on it. It would have been either no mention of awards at all or have had some nominated for awards wording, seeing the awards followed the films release.
ARGH! Along my thinking too.
First release definitely had me on the Video path.
As for the second maybe a US????
If it is US, then where the heck is the Aussie One sheet!??!
Good question Ves. Where is the original Australian first release theatrical one sheet poster from 1995?
So if the above is true, then at least we know what the theatrical should look like...
Aussie hoarders, check your stashes...anyone have a different version?
The above newspaper advertisement was published on the 27th of October 1995 for the Canberra ACT first release. The 1995 AFI awards were held on the 10th of November, 1995, the following month.
Ves is wondering if this video poster could be a reworking of the original missing Australian one sheet. Comparing this poster to the newspaper advertisement I would have to say it would have to be a strong possibility. All they may have done was add the ''First Release Home Entertainment'' logo to the poster for the video release.
What I find interesting about this poster inquiry is how an image of only a 22 year old Australian poster cannot be located. Surely there is an original 1995 one sheet around somewhere?
The oval with nominated is not a sticker on the video release, but I could easily see it being one added to the original one sheets of the time...
Yes surely PEOPLE there is one out there somewhere!!! And you know where it needs to come!!!!
