  • Oh love the first three!  Follies is beautiful too!
  • Nice mixture of old and new!
  • Nice mixture, glad you still have the Dawn - yours was the reason I got mine.
  • Wow!

The Mummy and Space Odyssey rock. The Veronica collection speaks for itself.

  • Damn fine display of movie poster goodness, Mel!
    Love 'em all!

  • Very nice.  Included some musicals to boot.  Love the Zigfield Follies.  Like the Melvin one so much that I have it as well.
  • Nice Mel!
  • So I must have been smoking crack back in Round1 to have bought and framed this WoO but my medical asst. mentioned his 66yo father loved WoO so I sold the frame to him for $75!

  • That $75 can go towards framing a Pretty Woman...
  • Or a Top Gun Daybill!
  • Or a Top Gun Daybill!
    Don't want to overdo it...

So I gave my I Love Melvin HS to my stepmother since my Dad is also a Melvin as a very late wedding gift!

  • That's a great gift!
  • Indeed! Cool gift they will see each day!
  • Your new place is shaping up to look similar to your old place, indeed.  Nice work.

That one sheet for "The Walk" is really effective.  I saw it on opening night at an IMAX.  Some people sounded like they were about to have a heart attack when the guy was walking the rope between the towers.  Lawl.  Great cinematography, and design for the poster.
  • As always, I rarely watch the movies for which I have posters.

My new place has much less available space although I have very high ceilings so I could add another row of posters in all areas of the apt.

If you liked the movie you should find the documentary on the actual guy.  Fascinating and it was good to see some aussie were apparently involved :)

    • Brought the beers?
    • Fired up the barbie when he got to the other side?
    • Tried to push him off before he started?
  • Nah...were the only ones stupid enough to agree to help him do it :)
  • Mel, I probably wouldn't watch a lot of them movies, either.  Lawl.  Although the artwork is cool for many of them.  I'd highly recommend The Walk.

Ves, the true story is remarkable.  The film is pretty accurate in a lot of instances.  Thanks for the rec on the doco.  And yeah, the Australian folks who helped him were quite brave, in assisting with a stunt of that magnitude.

  • Added this groovy surfer poster to the mix:

  • Very nice Mel.

Question for you, what is the difference in terms of what you are collecting this time around to last time?

No super-strict game plan in Round 2. Just very striking visual imagery on US and int. 1S, UK quads, and Japanese b1s.

    The classics so far:

    The moderns so far:

(mostly beauties with some alpha males)

  • Nice! A Good Woman is sweet! Love the colors & artwork!

Thanks. Once in a blue moon studios print "old school" illustrated classics:

  • Exactly. All very nice artwork!
  • You should see the B1 for Good Woman...
  • Oh I like the BLUE.
