We pick/vote a film to watch. Then set a date and time when the most people are free to watch it. That process usually takes a while. Then I'll set up screen caps and times to pause the movie for 2 or 3 10 minute breaks. So a thread gets set up to post comments as we watch it.
We used to do it on the Clint Eastwood forum, it was a blast. We had upwards of people from 7 different Countries watching the same film simultaneously. The most popular time was Saturday or Sunday afternoon/night and Mornings for the Aussies.
There would be anywhere from 150 to 400 posts during the film.
This is an example of times for different Countries.

Can we have a list of 10 movies you'd like to see on movie night, bearing in mind they must be on DVD. Chose movies that you'd think most people would like to see as well. So no films like Holly Chainsaw Hookers.....which rubs out Randy and Daves fantasy films, if you know what I mean.
From your lists we will see which films get nominated the most then vote on the top 3 or 4.
The Goonies is a classic. I will keep checking in to see what day we all agree on. But I am fine with whatever movie is picked. Just hopefully I have it in my collection already lol.
I think The Goonies works if you saw it 25 or 30 years ago...or saw it when one was young (or watched it with your kids), not so sure adults seeing it for the first time would 'get it'
