Finally made it back from California... I am worn out. I've spent two weeks at home in the last 5... Back just in time for August research deadlines.
I did manage an afternoon/evening in Disneyland. It completed the "on-the-fly" bucket list of visiting Disney World and Disneyland in less than a month.
No haven't been to Winterset but I had to go through John Wayne airport to get to Disney land... I think I even went down Gene Autrey Blvd. to get to the hotel.
Newport Beach! Very nice place to visit, Charlie! Was there this June. Boat ride of Newport Harbor took us past John Wayne's humble house on the water, beautiful! Well done, Duke...
Newport also features some nice wheels...McLaren waiting to cruise down the PCH...makes a Porsche look cheap...
