100 yards to a green with water in the front and to the right. Tall tree guarding the left.
Now the interesting thing is I was at the course, had to go back to pick up the kid, switched to sandals... Dropped the kid back at the house with mom and forgot to put my golf shoes back on. So I was playing barefoot!
A little breeze in the face... 60 degree SM6 K Grind Vokey Titleist wedge and a Callaway Chrome Soft 'Soccer' style ball.
When I hit it I knew it was a great shot... It landed past the pin about 18 inches. I started walking off the tee and my two playing partners started saying "it went in!"...
So I ended up sucking/pulling it back with spin right into the hole... That was the best part.
Needless to say I ended up buying quite a few drinks and had quite a few myself. And here I lie wide awake at 3AM...
It was a par 70... I shot even on the front nine then just waltzed in on the back. The funny thing about playing weekly at a club, is you end up not wanting to shoot a super low score because it will screw up your handicap. When I started the back nine I was hoping to have a few good blow up holes and shoot a 45 or so to keep it around 80. I even started hitting full drivers off of holes I don't normally - but I kept hitting it down the middle. lol...
There are 27 holes - this score was on the easiest rotation...
While my wife enjoys using the watercilor pencils on my posters from time-to-time, she is not without a collectible side to her. For me posters, for her purses...and quite a few of them I might add!

Congrats, Charlie!
That is truly a lifetime achievement! Players swing for years and never get close!...myself included when I can get out.
Save that scorecard, frame it and post it proudly!
Driving home from work, my car got rear ended by a Chinese plasterer who works on the same job as me..........I'm beginning to hate Fridays.
Any damage to your vehicle? Better question-any whiplash? I've had some before and no fun to recover from!

How many holes is your course? The internet says you have more than 18.
I guessing around 72 is average par for most, so 75 is friggin awesome!

Ps. I prefer posters. "Bogart" please.
