Underated Films 2 - Roadblock
I've watched this film many times and seem to enjoy it more with each new viewing. A great noir film from 1951 produced by the leader in film noir films RKO Radio. It stars the great Charles McGraw in a rare leading role. I liked Charles in everthing he acted in that I have seen.The other film in which he had the leading role that I love also is the RKO noir The Narrow Margin. In Roadblock there are a few flat spots but on a whole is a very entertaining movie with great pleasing 1950's location shooting in L.A. and a super car chase at the end of the film.If you haven't seen it is worth tracking down. The ABC have appeared to have held screening rights on and off for almost 50 years and it seems to be screened every 3 or 4 years in the early hours of the morning.
