eBay has a 15 year $12Billion annual turnover head start on me, but I am looking forward to it, it's been a long time coming... very early days but we have sellers and buyers registering already.
You know I was thinking it would be advantageous if you required all auction to end on a certain day of the week. That way it minimizes the work. I am with Chris, now I have to follow another site... That's a complement more than a negative. Good job.
Postage Cost to USA: Others will vouch but it costs more for Bruce to send one rolled poster to me - that said if it ends up cheaper I always refund the difference. But I send by registered post, so it costs more but it is safer. I know JP charges less but he is on a good rate with the PO, because he is a real dealer. But we have people sending from Canada, France, USA etc etc so all the rates will be different dependent on the seller.
Profile sellers: Dunno, certainly was not on the list. Perhaps one day we will allow members to set up a 'shop' within the site and they can profile themselves.
Ending auctions: Just like eBay it's up to the other sellers to decide when they want the auction to end - we're not like HA, Bruce or Rich. That said we may indeed have 'special' auctions in the future where all sellers combine to be a part of the same auction that do indeed end on the same day.
You could always follow us on Twitter & like us on Facebook, although truth be told not all posters that are listed will end up on social media.
Also would be nice to be able to sort by country of origin with the high shipping costs... Or sort by shipping costs... Dale's $5.75 rocks compared to $35...
Dale is sending a few miles away to you, about 1,300km to my 13,000km - that said he has different posters. To pay the postage from Bruce to me for one tube is about $35/$40 - I just can't see how it will be cheaper going the other way, specially as it is up hill.
CSV template? To do what?
We offer a bulk upload facility - we provide the Excel file, you fill it in we upload it (no charge).
Yes there are a lot of things we can do that are on the list to do, many of which will be done - time, not enough of it, so baby steps...
Nice Daveo. For the serious collector aye? So where are the serious posters? You might wanna add some of the bigger titles from you're own inventory at no reserve starting prices to get the ball rolling Daveo!
Why wait? I ain't a dealer like you buddy. So start listing.. I'll bid don't worry
I wouldn't have anything you would want Reggie. But anyway you don't have to be a dealer to sell a poster on BIDLL, you just have to have a poster(s) you want to sell. If you've never sold a poster before Reg PM me I can walk you through the process if you like.
You could invite some of your dealer mates along, always nice to have fresh blood...
I think what I really need to do is open a postal operation in Australia...
Why not Oz Post have opened up a Postal Operation in the states (for all those retailers who refuse to ship down under: https://shopmate.auspost.com.au/ and yet: "International shipping rates are A$24.95 per parcel, plus A$5.95 per 500g. The minimum chargeable weight is 500g, with 500g increments thereafter."
Oh and plus whatever the cost was to get it to the US location.

Seriously though best of luck with this initiative. What does the "LL" stand for in the name?
