  • Something even earlier. Not really a pressbook but a guide to films in Jan 1916 with synopsis of various movies. Has anyone come across these before?

The original U,S,A. press book page containing poster images. For comparison purposes John do you happen to have another page from the Australian press book that shows the available Australian poster images? This 1925 film had a 1926 Australian release.
There are actually no poster images in the Australian press book.
Unusual for this to not happen.
  • Interestingly in the Arizona Bound  press book there is a daybill image appearing, but no credits recorded for it.  Apparently they didn't have any room left to do so.

If you have any more simikar items John please keep them coming.
  • If only they survived!

The Jade Cup is credited as being a lost film.
  • John, do you happen to have any Australian press sheets printed for any pre 1926 films?

Thank you John for sharing with us the extremely rare 1920's Australian press book images. Apart from your images i have never come across any other examples of Australian 1920's press books. 1930's yes, but they are far and few between. Do you have many more from the 1920's?
