Double sided posters are very common for the time this poster came out. If you love the movie frame it up. Else, even in very good condition it is only worth $25.

In the condition presented here, you would be lucky to get $5 for it. See below auction results for the double sided version.

  • It is getting beat up sitting around in my office.  Received it in the early 90s when I worked at a theater.  Not sure whether to bin it, give it away, or to frame and sell.  I haven't found anything about this style of print anywhere.  I think i remember at the time that the back side was the result of the front printing saturating through.
  • Thank you very much.  Trying to stop holding onto things because they may be worth something.  Not sure why I couldn't find anything via a web search, I'm getting rusty it seems.

That type of poster is to use it in theaters inside a lightbox, with a light behind the poster, I'm pretty sure you have seen that before; using a single sided poster with a light behind will give you a "washed" image. Cheers !
