Got the Johnny Guitar and Roman Holiday back from restoration. Grabbed the Rogue One too. I’ll post a few more...

Comments

  • Not a poster but the image is from Back From Eternity Insert. It’s an original Andre de Dienes photo.

  • A few for my actress subcollections... The Help with Emma Stone and Human Stain with Nicole Kidman.

  • Nice haul Charlie, especially the Roman Holiday!!!

  • Nice haul. You certainly covered a few different genres this time around.
  • Did my annual antique show run.

Passed on a bunch (10) of 40s window cards (overpriced)...

Tons of reproductions. Then I spotted it - Elizabeth Taylor, A Father of the Bride window card. Two! To only be disappointed that they were both trimmed on right/left sides. Why?

I found bottom part of Let’s Pretend We Are Sweethearts three sheet. Didn’t bother to take pics - here is one from EMP.

So my only big score was this theater showcase for $100. It has no keys, so I have to figure that part. But it’s all aluminum. I might also replace the lighting unit with LED...

I did find an original 8x10 of a theater with Strangers On A Train Marquee and shot of poster. I’ll try to remember to follow up with a shot of that tomorrow.
  • Nice score on the lighbox!  If I could have one artifact from a cinema, this would be it!
  • Sweet pickups Gents!

  • Italian 2P! Gonna frame it!
