Just got an e-mail from Cassie the designer of the Big Lebowski Intl. OS

Cassie Ramsay Anderson just sent me an e-mail out of the blue to let me know whom designed the Australian Big Lebowski poster:

Hi, to whomever’s e mail this is … I once talked to one “Charlie” re my rug glasses “dude” poster for the Coens / Gramercy

international campaign … I see here the one sheet labelled Australian (cast members on the checkered floor

with clouds?) It was actually designed by my colleague Kevin Bachman as just one of a whole gold/clouds series,

here in L.A. at NWE (Burbank). We both worked on the movie in that studio. His became the U.S. campaign and mine 

the International.

I am assuming that the US design was by Kevin as well but have sent her an e-mail to confirm.

She has followed up and confirmed that Kevin did all the cloud series posters on Big Lebowski.  She also stated that Kevin did the Basic Instinct poster.

"he did all of that cloud series … he’s really well known in the 

film art community …

he was a sort of prodigy from really early on … I still talk to him. 

The first really famous poster he did was the one for Basic Instinct

- c/u on Michael Douglas and Sharon stone with the ice pick
