Hi guys, it's Ronald from Amsterdam. When I signed up I didn't know nobody uses aliases here, so now I have this embarrassing name. But anyway: I have a small film poster collection of mostly one sheets from genre films and classics from the seventies and eighties. Hope to run into everyone here in the near future! And thanks for having me
Thanks guys! I am currently (and for the past/future couple of months) digitizing my collection of around 500/550 posters with pictures and notes on the size and state, so I should be able to post many posters here in the near future. For now I am getting familiar with all the topics and discussions here.
Hello Everyone.. New to the forum. I've been collecting for many years. Never will forget the first time I ask a theater manager "what they did with their posters". He said he had a bunch of them in a closet if I wanted them...I took them all. Each time I went to that theater he gave me a stack of one sheets. I thinned my collection over the years only kept key pieces. I've bought a bunch of stuff from Bruce and theres the occasional "find" floating around too. I may be thinning my collection even further, so I thought I would become a member and get to know folks and talk "shop" before letting go of my stuff.
Thanks everyone.. just so you know the user name is where I work and my job! CAT (Caterpillar) and I'm an Engineer (Test Eng). My thinned collection is getting thinner by the way. But I did save all the linen stuff and good Hitchcock Lobbies for here.
Hello, I'm new to the forum, I wouldn't call myself a mad collector or anything, but I like to decorate the cinema room with authentic posters. I have a few posters I would like to sell or trade to fill the last few available spots on my wall. I am from Melbourne Australia.
