This is similar to the last video I posted from BU, but different size paper, slightly different presentation. I do not work for BU; I just think this is a good video for a great idea:
I am not sure it ever was. It was not there when I first read it. Merging the posts is done automatically, it just grabs the posts and puts them together. No manual code pasting etc... Please add it in a new post.
It was there when I first posted. I checked the preview and then rechecked while I still had time to edit. The other two videos are showing up the way they're supposed to. What is left of the post in its current butchered state is just the header line that says in part "this is a good video."
We can argue about it but it wasn't there when I viewed it. I didn't remove it - sometimes if the address is not right it will just disappear. Just post it again, no sweat...
Hi Charlie,
There's nothing to argue; I'm simply reporting what I observed and so are you. I personally think your automated combine script has a problem, because when Dave combined my posts about Egyptian posters the same thing happened, but in that case none of the videos survived--two different videos in two different posts. If the only solution available is to repost and one cannot edit and correct, that doesn't suit me. When something goes wrong I want a way to fix it; I don't want to redo everything.
Here's a suggestion: send the user a notification when you combine his posts, with information about what change has been made to the title and location; then give another 4-hour window for editing.

My thanks to the State of Illinois for this nice video!
The video is missing from #2 of the three
