Richard Roundtree Became Elvis In New Zealand

  Charley-One Eye ( 1973 ). Self explanatory I believe. The New Zealand version borrowed from the U.S. insert of Flaming Star ( 1960 ) and not the original Charley One-Eye U.S. one sheet shown above. Out of interest the Australian daybill doesn't picture Richard Roundtree at all with only an images of Roy Thinnes with a chicken sitting on his hat. Four different distributors involved.

 Thought you might like to see the Australian daybill version. GU Film Distributors didn't chicken out on producing their preferred alternative version with a chicken preferred over Richard Roundtree ( or Elvis ).

i've got a photo somewhere of Elvis with Richard Roundtree, and it's fair to say thew difference is fairly obvious.
