Captain Thunderbolt

I've never seen another one...original release or RR?

  • It would be original release for sure.
  • A collector had 8 daybills around 5 years ago. I picked up a couple and he sold the rest. Not the best artwork!
  • Remember it is Ray films and the majority of their posters didn't have the best artwork and this Captain Thunderbolt daybill is one of the better ones which isn't saying much.
  • Oh...I wonder if mine is from that original lot!?
  • Would have made a big difference if they simply used brighter colors rather than the drab ones used.

Yours looks in much better condition than the two I picked up but I wouldn't be surprised if they originated from the same place.

Ray Films started as a one man operation so probably they had little to spend on posters.
