But I can't find that image!  Granted it's late, and I need sleep now...Sooo...

    59. Anita Ekberg in La Dolce Vita...and please can you post the full image...

Correct. The film from 1960. Image attached above as requested. Originally banned in New Zealand but eventually released it appears uncut and the poster is from this release.

Thank you.  I've not seen this before.  What is it?  Their version of a MINI?

  • Thank you.  I've not seen this before.  What is it?  Their version of a MINI?
I guess so. The image has disappeared off Google so I cannot give you the exact size. Bruce and other sites list this type of poster as New Zealand daybills. There didn't appear to be a standard size and some of the sizes are 14'' x 19'', 18'' x 22''. 18'' x 23 '' and many other variations.
  • Image # 62 clues. An MGM film from the 1950s.
  •   Image # 63. Name the actress and the film title. Image taken from a U.S. poster.
  • I was half thinking Liza and Cabaret

But let's go with Sophia Loren, Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow (1963)

Image # 64. Name the actress and the film title. Should be easy.
  • Too easy...

An answer would be great then.
  • I let someone else have a go at guessing Lance Cumson's real life mum's film.
  • Esther Williams - pagan Love Song

  • Image # 62 clue is instruments being played up through the floor.
  • Some for you...

    64.

    65.

    66.

    67.

    68.

    69.

  • Some for you...

    64.

    65.

Image # 64 ( 64 b ) is Planet terror ( 2007 ) which was one half of the Grindhouse double feature. The leg with the weapon appeared on the right leg and the left leg depending on which countries poster you look at.

    Image # 65 is Desperado ( 1995 ).

  • Esther Williams - pagan Love Song

Correct. Image # 64 and the film was from 1950. A very enjoyable film that has a near zero storyline but nevertheless manages to entertain.
  • 64b. Yep Planet Terror - Rose McGowan

    65. Yep Desperado - Salma Hayek

  • 69

    Sunburn (1979) - Farrah Fawcett-Majors

    66

Her Jungle Love (1938) - Dorothy Lamour

  • 64b. Yep Planet Terror - Rose McGowan

    65. Yep Desperado - Salma Hayek

For the record I knew and intended to post the actresses names as well as the film titles but at midnight one tends not to not function on all cylinders. I was thinking about the quiz when Dorothy Lamour sprang to mind but when I was about to post Her Jungle Love at 9a.m. lo and behold David had beaten me to the punch. The artwork certainly looked Richardson in the image. Sunburn I don't recollect the image at all and that is bad seeing it is Farrah Fawcett- Majors.

Images 70 ( top left ), 71 ( top right ) and 72 ( bottom in more ways than one ). Name the actresses ( male would be good as well but optional ) and the films.

Correct and first released 1963 in France and Italy. I always though Jack Palance was an unusual casting but what about Fritz Lang playing himself ?
  • Ahh yes...
  • edited January 2016
Image # 73. Name the actress and the film title. Image from an Australian daybill.
  • 73. Sophia Loren - 2 Women

  • 73. Sophia Loren - 2 Women

Correct and the film from 1960 and Sophia Loren's Best Actress Academy Award that she received for her performance in this film was the first Oscar ever given in this category for a performance in a '' Foreign Language '' film.
