  • As previously mentioned here on this thread, I had attempted unsuccessfully in the past to make contact with Eric Dare  Since this original posting I tried  again unsuccessfully to make contact with him. A pity this never was possible  as I had been hoping to have gained some valuable information about his film distribution history.

Eric Dare's film titles appeared to have been a combination consisting  mainly of art house, children's and exploitation product.

Any Eric Dare, Dare Films, House Of Dare or Garland Productions credited films mentioned previously here as having had missing daybill images please include them here if you happen to have images of any of them.

There is the strong possibility of some other various distributed credited Eric Dare release titles existing that I haven't mentioned as knowing about that may also exist. If you own or know of any titles that fall into this category please let us know here.

I am particularly keen on sighting a daybill image that would have been printed for Dare Films re-release of Citizen Kane. The film was passed and  classified by the Australia censor on 1/1/1973.  It was released the same year and had a limited release.

While I am here any thoughts regarding the dating of the two following Eric Dare King Kong (1933) Australian daybill posters? Interestingly the posters do not have a Dare Film credit on either of them.

  •  Another daybill located for an Australian Eric Dare release of The Cat And The Canaty from 1978, This film was submitted to the Australian censor by The House Of Dare.
