QUEEN OF HEARTS Daybill
This is a bit of a crossover thread with the Cataloguing the Printers
I was surprised to see that this daybill is printed by JNO Evans. Anyone have thoughts as to its release date?

What is the size? It doesn't appear to be a long daybill.

In the other thread, Hondo mentions the last known JNO Evans printed daybills were around 1925 and that tallies with what I have seen up until yesterday. Its a bit hard to accurately date this daybill but it is a fair bit later than 1925. Maybe just a one off but I will be interested to hear if anyone can pin down a date for this one bearing in mind that the film was originally release in about 1936.
By the way, the poster measures 13" x 30"
PS The only other JNO Evans daybills I have seen were printed in the early 1920s
Queen Of Hearts along with another Gracie Fields movie The Show Goes On were certainly re-released widely in 1943.The films I thought would have been re-released by BEF with a nice W.E.Smith colour poster produced for each of them.I'm wondering if a smaller independent distributor obtained the re-release rights and possibly had the two daybils for these two films produced cheaply and possibly The Show Goes On done in the same style by Jno, Evans & Son Print, You will notice there is no distributor credits on the Queen Of Hearts daybill which to say the least is a dull but also historic posterl. What I can say John is I am convinced this daybill was for a 1943 re-release.
