  • Can't own up to this purchase, but David you did express some interest in this one...a flurry of bidding activity on June 3rd & 4th saw this sell for $22! ...no this was not an early linenbacking test of mine... :D;)photo A8E2CA38-BE15-4065-8DE6-8BE95ABA57DD_zpsb5frnhgj.jpg

Interest? Me? nahhh...now own up Mark, you won it!
  • :)) ...good one! No, I chose not to bid on Kramer. I actually put a hard charge going after Tootsie & Bull Durham...came up short on those two...the mystery owner of Kramer deepens... ;) ..... :-?
  • Watching this atm, I've got one but nowhere in the same condition

But I thought the description was funny (yes I know it's a stock description) "If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know."

This is all I could envisage!

  • I don't think I have ever seen a Russian poster as old as this, and wowee on the price thus far!

  • I've never been particularly attracted to Russian posters-but this one is great looking! Love the use of green! As for the stenciled play dates, I might keep'em if I was the buyer.
  • I won't start adding Polish poster to my collection, but I like this image:

  • The silent era posters seem to be doing well now-a-days not just this lot, but in general.
  • That was great value on the This Above All poster. Quite an amazing price at the moment for the LA confidential dont you think? For a modern 'rare' poster i always think the risk is high for paying so.much. look what happened to the matrix international style. I didnt think LA confidential was that collectible.

I've got no idea on the why on the LA Confidential price, but then we all need our heads read on some of the prices we pay for those things we really really want.

Yes indeed, a great buy one the 'This Above All' poster.

I absolutely love this, almost want to collect inserts when you see a piece you don't own as a Daybill (and I have no idea what the Daybill looks like)

I need to move into a converted warehouse, because that's the only way something like this deserves to be seen/displayed. A 6SH

  • Use it as a bed spread like Ari would...

Personally, I would consider it carpet worthy
