No offense Hondo, but i would hardly call slipping in an image from a completely different film on this daybill, a "slight alteration." And since it wasn't mentioned here on the forum, I was assuming it was overlooked, altogether.

(Quote) I believe I pointed out the most obvious and "agregious" (aka lazy) problem on this daybill--in that an image from a prior Universal movie (Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man) was used to "pump up" this later (and more weak) installmen…

I gotta ask: What do you mean by an "acid bath?" That sounds a bit scary to me...LOL
Are you meaning a de-acidification or "buffering" bath?
Ive often looked for a pressbook image of the various (larger) US advertising materials that were made for the original release but never come across an image of the 24 sheet.
Do you have an image of it, by chance? And if not, how did yo…Unfortunately, the daybill has a MAJOR error in the artwork. The blue/white image of the Monster carrying the damsel is actually from Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man.
Why it was added to this movie's daybill is anyone's guess.
Are you sure Heritage didnt just boost the overall contrast on the "before" image? Im only asking because I dont see any real indication of added paint. Ive tried this contrast test before and the painted areas tend to stand out like 'sore thumbs.'<…How could the art dept have overlooked & misspelled Orson Welles' last name on that daybill? And not once, but twice!! That is sacrilege.

The tagline on the daybill maybe should have been changed to: "for a killer who punches"
Nice selection of posters in your collection here, Marcell. One thought/question: Because the actual movie that was going to be played had not been named on the poster at the time of its printing, (and possibly the movie titles might have changed or rotated) would it have been possible that a ratings snipe c…#104 - Five Graves to Cairo (1943), Erich von Stroheim, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel
According to EMP, this show was put on in the 1950s. What is interesting too is that the same show was also put on in the US in the 1950s, with similar-ish looking window card art.in Dr. Draculas '' Living Nightmares''. Comment by papergatherer June 2016
It might look nice on the side of the Story Bridge, too.
This has been listed on ebay for MANY YEARS, too!
Some die hard Laurel & Hardy fan would likely buy it and store it away. Many collectors do that with posters much smaller than a 24sh anyhow.in Is It Worth It? Comment by papergatherer June 2016
#123 - The Electronic Monster from 1958.
(Quote) These be some really nice looking Belgians. Dark Alibi & Sierra Madre are especially thumbs up, to me.Many things on the internet should be cross-checked and not taken as gospel. That helps to flush out the inaccuracies, too.
(Quote) Are your others also posters for X rated or "spicy" movies? If so, i can see how dead ends will be hit as many were made and later credited with pseudonym-laced actors, director and even the crew. And when no production company is on any o…#101- Strategic Air Command from 1955.

The US pressbook seems to show that the film had an X rating, even though the US OS indicates it was rated R. So maybe a change (or some edits) before …Very true. And as this is a movie poster forum, and not a pure film forum, I guess I just assumed that is what was being talked about.
No logo was ever so altered so as to not what studio had released the picture, overseas or otherwise. (unless another foreign distributor may have also added their "seal of excellence."in Same Film Different Warner Bros. Logos. Comment by papergatherer June 2016

Just wondering -- Why does the yellow of the Mount Rushmore imagery look more vibrant in the "before" pic (where the titling is supposedly faded) .... and then, in the "after" pic, with the title retouched & colored in, the yellow, Rushmore area…This is a Very cool looking set of Turkish posters here, Randy.
The variations in a logo's design, by country (yet for the same film) were also done by some of the other major studios, as well, with Universal immediately coming to mind.
What movies are these 3 tag lines from?
I would more call this artistic license.
Considering that Billie Dove was not a blonde, with long cascading locks going down her back, and as this image was used on the lower, left corner of the lobby cards, Im of the thinking that the a…I've had a hotmail account for years and never had a problem with sent emails, missing emails, or not receiving them.
