I saw Marilyn, but I also saw a bit of Mansfield and even a smattering of Debbie Reynolds. I just decided that she was made up to be the stereotype 50s bombshell.
-
I believe the second and third are the same person.
-
Well it is Judy Bamber, who I recognize from the Dragstrip Girl film. One of the films I listed as a possibility in the hot rod drawing thread.
However, IMDB says this is a publicity shot for Up in Smoke instead. -
(Quote) That's why I grabbed it. However, the grille shell is wrong and the sway bar is missing from in front of the grille

C454 is The Parallax View
-
Giant Gila Monster?

Cute trick on 275. See earlier post.
-
C452 is The Carpetbaggers
-
273. Take a shot at it. Early Marilyn Monroe in Ticket to Tomahawk?
-
There are other possibilitiess from the period. This car was in Hot Rod Girl and later featured in an episode of TVs Highway Patrol

-
450. Reds? The sister clue for Warren Beatty and Shirely McClain?
-
Agree on the film, but I believe those legs belong to Ava Gardner

I take a position that a big part of these posters and artwork lies in their history. I kinda hate when people destroy the history by over restoring to a condition where the piece loses its soul.
Given that, your artwork is in very nice … -
I think a distinct possibility is The Wild Ride (1960). The Model A hot rod is a dead match. Aside - Jack Nicholson's first role.
in I’m certain that it’s related to MGM movies, but,,

-
Don't even need to confirm. C447 is Catch 22
-
270 is Jean Harlow in Red Dust
-
Well ok. Good quick call, Ves.
C446 is The Red Shoes. Those surrealistic backgrounds are a dead giveaway. -
No, that isn't John Astin, but you sure would think so.
-
Image search finds 269, but I've never heard of her or the film.
-
268 is obviously Cyd Charisse from The Band Wagon, a favorite of mine.
-
C441
My first thought was Sugarland Express, but that was set in the 1970s.
A search turned up Suddenly (1954) starring ol Blue Eyes himself. But from the period when he was box office poison. I vaguely recall watching this as an afterno… -
265 - Knew it was Yvonne De Carlo right off. Had to search to find the publicity shot for Salome, Where She Danced (1945)
-
C440 Hombre

(Quote) Yeah, I was offline for a couple of days. On me.

Bruce is too fast. I have that card.
-
I think it is Linda Darnell in Hangover Square
-
I found the image several times as historical archive and in an article describing how 1917 was based on fact. Some sort of documentary?
-
Nobody jumping in?
Mary Tyler Moore in Thoroughly Modern Millie
