I did my research and realised none of those options were correct!

Yes, very unappealing time for poster design.

My guesses were everything from Buster Keaton, Groucho Marx in Horsefeathers, to McCabe and Mrs Miller!

Sorry, limited time at the moment, haven't got time to scratch myself due to work commitments.

C690 - There Will Be Blood (2007). A classic image of the flaming oil well.

Wow! That's an amazing fact about Blake Edwards.

C35 - Very odd that I found this. That image made me think of John Candy for some reason, perhaps I've seen the still somewhere. I thought Planes, Trains and Automobiles....but it wasn't that. Then I searched for John Candy Clown...and found Uncle B…

I'll eventually get around to consigning the rest of my daybills, just been very busy with work lately and only just got a whole bunch out of storage. I need to get them to Bruce before the minimum consignment amount gets too high! (...or he retires…

I'd be surprised if there aren't a bunch of daybills from the 80s and 90s of Australian films with product placement. Especially some Tony Ginnane or John Lamond features.

Ah! C445 The Amityville Horror (1979)

That's Pete Smith from the Pete Smith specialties isn't it? Doesn't shed any light on it for me though.
Having said that, I just searched Pete Smith and 3D and found Third Dimensional Murder (1941), it's a short, is that … -
Is it The Delicate Delinquent (1957)?

Is C28 The Geisha Boy (1958) with Jerry Lewis?
-
Is C29 Carry on Cowboy? (1965)

Perhaps the Cinemascope credit was meant to be contractual and the local artists weren't aware of it? Hence the snipes.

I've checked and it certainly looks like his signature, and it came from a long time collector who had other autographed pieces in his collection, so perhaps he forgot he had it? I'll never know, but if I ever sell it I'll say it's genuine! This is my Master of The World Quad purchased years ago, I only noticed the signature years later, no idea if it's genuine or not, but it wasn't purchased as autographed.
