(Quote) Agree Ves. My neighbour collects soviet era propaganda posters (house covered in them), stunning artwork, but very poor quality paper, very high acid content/browned much more than movie posters from the same period.

201: Kapo (1960) with Susan Strasberg (father Lee Strasberg)

(Quote) Looking good Mark, great job!

I reckon second place will stay as is (hard days night), with A&B lost in Alaska hot in its heels. Also Halloween has to do well if recent sales are any indication.

200: The Bridge (1956)?

(Quote) Cheers mate, not ideal, but once framed, the shorter length could tie in with the plug socket.

Now that's nice Lawrence, even the duelling steamers at the top look mighty impressive!
-
Bulldog clips and hanging track work well! Toying with what will come next prior to framing...
Although 'slightly' clashing, I thought a meeting of Knights could work?in Recent hangings... Comment by Wil September 2018

(Quote) Sadly this dealer is one of the clowns/criminals peddling bootleg (union strike/second print... blah blah) Star Wars one sheets at too good to be true prices.
Been reported a host of times, yet selling a tonne of legit items app… -

Happy birthday Matt. May your birthday also involve, movies, cake and big boys toys! -
Great image Lawrence, I wouldn't mind one of those 4 Daybills or that rather fine looking banner.
-
Nice, but still prefer the One Sheet.

-
I'll have to dig it out again Lawrence, but pretty sure it was. The daybill was Robert Burton though.

So am I Lawrence, so am I...

Ah, I'm blind, Sterling Hayden's 1952 - 'Flat Top'
-
Yeah... there was no chance in hell of me knocking that one off.
-
Is there a Sci-fi element to this Lawrence? The burning Hellcat looks like it's being intensely heated up by a alien ray or something?

(Quote) Off the bat all I can think of would be the 1977 Gregory Peck flick - MacAuthur?
It covered WW2 and Korea and your imaged looks like it's been colourised to add into a later colour movie. -
Just to get the easy one out of the way - 196: The Bridge At The Bridge at Remagen (1969)

Good score Mark, definitely worth framing (I'm slightly biased), I partially agree with Matt, that is definitely the best US design, but for me the UK quad has a little edge over it.
-
I'll take the two at the back thanks

-
Love it Sven!! Makes my post oscars look bad'
-
Thanks Rock, A few of them were certainly dullsville (the Jedi single blue lightsaber style A springs to mind), others however (particularly the Quads) were pretty darn good.

Looks a bit like a Devils playground
, good luck with that one Ves. -
Many.. many others I'm sure.

To be honest it was a close call, although Ryan is visually a masterpiece, Clint's idea to shoot two movies (letters from iwo jima) showing simultaneous perspectives of the same battle was quite an achievement to say the least.

(Quote) They certainly are. My daybill and one sheet are off for backing now, I image the 3 Sheet would look stunning in comparison.

Loving the Wonder Woman display, I've got a few of those myself. Sadly my other half isn't to keen on me putting them up.. can't see why...
