(Quote) I have just bought a selection of daybills and believe that there is a 'Horror Express' in there that may possibly show this one to be a RR or second printing. Once I have it hand I'll post an image.

Kinda off topic, but I've noticed that in the early 80s - around the time daybills were becoming more 'glossy' - that full bleed styles started emerging again. Buts as to why - no idea.

I often wonder how varied print runs were for different films. I've been doing some research into early 70s stuff and it's mind-boggling how you can have a dozen films released in the same month of the same year and some posters for those films are …

My Deep Red daybill is one of my most prized items! I really think the 7 Keys team nailed the design.

The numerous re-titlings make things hard - but fun!
I'll have a look for any other red Regent daybills I might have. -
I was looking to buy an OOP Blu-ray the other day. It was 26GBP or make an offer. I offered 18 and he countered with 25!! 1 pound off!! Seriously, why even say you'll take offers?
I regularly look to bundle and discount where I can and I'… -
Great research Hondo! So there might just be another daybill out there!

Oh wait - no it isn't! The normal insert picture option is missing :-(

Here's 'Demoniacs':

Had to post this one somewhere and the pointless re-titling thread made sense. Ladies and gentlemen, the rarely seen Australian daybill for 'The Pyx':
Um...hello? Censor guys? We can still see her!

I know Rick and I both have a copy. I'll have a dig around over the weekend - I don't think there's an image online.(Quote)
Hi Rick. It's not Fulci, it's Jean Rollin :-)My sister and I both love Albert Finney's version of Scrooge, so over the years I've given her the daybill, both versions of the US insert and the Italian locandina.I agree with you Hondo, insomuch as that many films never reached Oz, for whatever reason. I guess we all like to chase the unicorn - so I never give up hope, even if there hasn't been anything even resembling proof of a poster!
For examp…Hi Bruce,
In your last stills auction, there were some Suspiria 8 x 10s that I was looking at and I was curious about the way they were listed.
They were 7 stills that were included in the press kit back in 1977, designated by …I need to do some more digging, but I believe Hotel Cinema was the name given to the VHS library available for guests to rent during their stay at a hotel. There would be a stack of tapes at reception that could be lent out. I remember seeing them a…Another snipe. The poster's in terrible condition, but the Video Classics reference on the snipe won me over!

But what reference point are you using? If a slabbed still is given a 6.5 are you comparing it to your grade of VG to Fine? Or just VG? Or just Good?I like that my one yes vote = 14% of the poll :-D
Slabbing is, for me, a valid method of authenticating collectibles as well as protecting them. I have several comics that are approaching 70 years of age that are currently boarded and bag…'Colossal' with Anne Hathaway :-)(Quote)
I'd like to politely challenge you on this point Bruce. CGC grading has been around for nearly 20 years and have developed a pretty robust system with 25 possible scores on their rating scale. I understand that we've yet to find a un…I play a little bit in the shallow end of CGC collecting for comics, so I have a little understanding of value vs grade.
Starting at 0.5 up to 9.0, the grades jump in 0.5 increments, with 9.0 - 10.0 moving in 0.2s. For comics, the differ…Here's another RR daybill; interesting to note the new rating. I would guess that this would be a third run? Full colour, RR shown above with NSFC rating, then this one?in The Dunwich Horror Comment by Pancho November 2017
