(Quote) There are 2 similar daybills for Boys' Night Out 1962 by both printers, so possibly you are right. I haven't had time to check them any further.I looked at a few more titles and the abbreviated info seems to be 1960 & a few in 1961…I think there is good precedent for the abbreviated company title A&C Printers ( vs Advertising and Commercial Pty Ltd) belonging to 1960. MGM loved blowing their own trumpet, and this would tie in with the 21st anniversary of GWTW.Followin…Bruce sold an R40s version, but there was only the top two thirds. Was in the big lot down in Sydney.HA sold both versions as R-54. I think old mate was alerted some time ago, but previously had them dated the same. The A&C is easy ...Free Police Academy 5 daybill to person who answers correctly on both.(May not ship to Canada, Notting Hill or other backwater destinations).Rushed a reply in to give Hondo some more research work. Gotta keep him busy so he doesn't go snooping around Blue Mountains antique shops looking for vintage daybills! The cost of film hire from Amalgamated included 5 daybills for promotion. Whether they were printed at the same time is a matter for more research, as some were…Another one was Underwater Warrior, going off an old list I have saved. One of the dedicated collectors here should have an image of that or Gigantis.M.R.Now you're really opening a can of worms.I'm way too busy!!
There are times when they still used the old censor ratings such as You only live twice re-release poster. Wizard of Oz daybills printed by Maps are also suspect, but may be okay.Speaking of 1969, someone needs to tell Bruce about Night of Blo…There are a few versions of Butch Cassidy: Yellow with red text, yellow / yellow, red / red (NRC) & and orange / orange (NRC).Most likely yellow / red is 1st printing.Small censor circles and straight line text reminds me of Midnight Cowboy, Butch Cassidy & Wild Bunch etc. I'll say c1969ish on those posters. You can search back through the week's auctions in HA & EMP to see what other Aust one sheets were sold in the same lot. May give a clue to date seeing how you're talking about issues ten years apart. From memory Gigantis the Fire Monster was Chromo.I think it's only the female that attacks and like Matt said only in Spring when chicks are in the nest. There are a lot up here in the mountains and they can be cunning. I walked past one at an unfamiliar place once and watched the little b eve…I had a running battle with a local magpie when I first moved to the Blue Mountains. Once they get to know you they are okay. After a while they used to look for me having lunch outside and swoop down out of the trees for some bread. Pretty unn…Could have been worse!BTW not a bad ride out through Kenthurst and down Pitt Town Rd. You come back out at Vineyard near the hotel on Windsor Rd. I used to go on my motorbike, but roads probably okay for treadly as well.<…Given his movie star good looks and apparent charm, I think Matt should become VMPF's roving reporter.A trip round to Johnny's will cheer him up!in Road Trip Comment by Mark October 2014

That person is in the US.These guys: http://www.caths.org.au/A couple of the members had a trip planned from Vic to Sydney and the Blue Mountains. I held onto the albums until they came through and …A few years ago I purchased some items from the estate of a deceased projectionist. Among the lot were 3 large photo albums dating from the 1970s - 1990s. The fellow travelled all round Australia on his holidays visiting cinemas and taking pics insi…Northener is my favourite. There is an anonymous sort of guy down in Melb who collects stuff from the 1930s & '40s. He was at the Bill Collins auctions in the 1990s & bought some good paper including early Frankenstein series daybills. H…(Quote) I don't get that logic. All Aussies are dropping 15% out of their wallets on any transaction in $US.I still can't work out if that blob is meant to be a spider? Seems to have 8 legs.
