That's one I haven't seen! Love the token Koala.

Well, that's what I thought the thread was about. The quads are great but there are also some fantastic international posters for Australian films as well.
-
(Quote) ... No. I'm suggesting that other international posters also be shown in addition to quads.

Eureka Stockade is a good one too but we should post some posters from other countries as well. I'm sure Lawrence has some more for us to see.

(Quote) Me too! This is going to remind me of some of the great posters that have passed through my hands. Wish I had kept some of them like this one.....

The second card is a parody of Hitchcock's Psycho but I cant see any reason why it would be withdrawn.
I guess the two #8 cards make this a nine card set.

The herald is on the site. I will see if I can find an image of the trade ad and post it here if I can find it.

I wouldn't place too much significance on Page Views. Its possible that many of these page views could be someone staying for just a second or two. To me, the more important thing would be the number of people who actually participate in a discussio…

Many people, including sellers, don't realise that ebay takes a commission out of postage. You have to factor that in otherwise you lose money on postage. Also, people think that you can just find cardboard and cut it up to size and whack it in an e…

I had thought about Kind Hearts and Coronets but Alec Guinness is almost unrecognizable in the photo. Mystery solved! -
I saw that but it didn't help (me anyway)

Might need another clue for #19

I understand. Just wanted to make the distinction.
There used to be a dealer in Mexican lobby cards who used to post huge lists on MoPo whenever someone passes away and others certainly do this sort of thing frequently. Thanks for that. Is that George Cole in the second picture of #17?This is where there is a big difference between dealing on ebay and dealing through a personal website and that is the point I am making. ebay takes a hard line on people trying to circumvent their fees and do business outside the site when the init…Are you able to put the numbers either on or next to the images?
I cant work out what numbers you have assigned to thesein The Comedy Quiz Comment by John September 2016
(Quote) I was just making the point that when you see someone add some listings for someone who has just passed away, you don't really know whether the seller is responding to requests or not.

It's true that this happens but also true that sellers invariably get asked for lists of items that they have when someone passes away. I had three requests for Gene Wilder posters directly through ebay and responded. I know at least…#16 is Robert Morley and Margaret Rutherford in Curtain Up
#20 looks like Alistair Sim in Ladykillers
#21 is Jimmy Edwards in Treasure HuntThe House Of Frankenstein quad certainly does have the Eros films logo on it which confirms that it is a re release. Eros Films operated from 1947-1961 as Lawrence points out. The poster has no printers details on it but I think it is likely to be l…The person who paid 305.00 for the bottom poster must have thought it was original.Foreign Correspondent is well worth seeing!Buyer beware is a good title for this thread. I think the second and third posters are both repros so 305.00 is way over the odds.
