    Image 448 is the Peter Cushing 1975 remake version of the 1933 film The Ghoul.

     

    Image 449 is from the original Boris Karloff The Ghoul version from 1933.

    Sorry it isn't that film, but a good guess though. The title that you mentioned The Legacy and the film we are after are both from the late 1970's and both have cats in the plot. Does this help at all?
