The following is a unimpressive looking New Zealand printed daybill of Riot In Cell Block 11, released there by International Films and not by United Artists as was the case in Australia.
The Pier 5 Havana artwork on the Australian daybill is very similar to the U.S.A. insert poster artwork. On the other hand the Australian daybill printed for Gang War is a lot different in design. On the insert poster Kent Taylor, and not Charles Bronson is more prominently featured, while the Australian daybill has the main star of the film Charles Bronson effectively displayed, with no image though of Kent Taylor to be seen. Although limited in colour I do prefer the daybill artwork over the insert artwork. Anyone agree?
Thanks Rick. Just in case you may not have known Actress Jennifer Holden from the Gang War film made only three films. The other two were Buchanan Rides Alone (1958), and her first film role in the Elvis Presley film Jailhouse Rock (1957) as seen belo
Comments
Gang War (1958)
Jennifer (1953)
Pier 5 Havana (1959)
Crime Against Joe (1956)
Witness To Murder (1954)
Hot Cars (1956)
The above U.S.A. insert posters could indicate what the missing Australian daybill poster artwork would look like.
Any one happen to have any daybills of any of them?
Still lots more to come.

A Pier 5 Havana rare Australian one sheet worth displaying here as well as the earlier included daybill image.
