The Saint's Small Stash
Hi Guys,
This is my little collection of posters / prints. I'm a fan of Jurassic Park stuff and managed to collect some of them. When I started work in Thailand about a year and a half ago, I started to learn a lot about Thai culture and got interested especially in their form of artistic interpretation and over the few months, I managed to aquire some exquisite pieces.
Here's my humble collection:

This is the 24" x 36" Jurassic World Screen Print Artist Proof Editions by Mark Englert that was available only at SDCC 2014. These AP editions are limited to 25 each and are signed by Englert. The orange one is the regular version and the blue one is the variant edition. They are huge in person!!!

This is the original Thai language poster of Jurassic Park 1

This is the original Thai language poster of Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World
And this is the pinnacle of my collection, something that I love to collect. Hanuman, the monkey god of Indian/Thai mythology. What is most interesting here is that he is being featured with Kamen Rider and Ultraman.
Initially, Chaiyo productions got the licensing rights from Tsuburaya for screening Ultraman / Kamen Rider in Thailand and decided to feature Hanuman to appeal to the Thai audience. However, Chaiyo Productions did not consult Tsuburaya and went ahead with a lot of things and had issues with the initial agreement. Tsuburaya won the case in Japan and Chaiyo won the case in Thailand. They brought the matter up in the states and the courts ruled in favor of Chaiyo. till today, the case is unresolved and ongoing. Okay, now back to the topic:

The first feature of the Monkey God Hanuman, together with the 6 Ultra brothers, giving rise to the 'Hanuman Vs 7 Ultraman'. This poster is done in painting style and is absolutely beautiful in person. The poster was released in 1974.

Shortly after, the success of the Hanuman and 6 Ultra Brothers franchise, Chaiyo Productions cashed in and came up with Hanuman and the 5 Riders. This poster came in a year later in 1975 This version is the international version which did not have any advertisements.

In the same year, they released a local (Thai) version which has a cigarette advertisement in the top right hand corner. This poster is also believed to have been released in 1975. I am still hunting for a Taiwanese version of this poster.

10 years after the first release of Hanuman and the 6 Ultra Brothers, Chaiyo Productions came up with 'Hanuman Vs 11 Ultraman' and this 1984 poster was a remake with strong references to the original one released in 1974. Also another beautiful work of art.

20 years later, in 2004 I believe, Chaiyo Productions did several attempts to rejuvenate the franchise and these were the promotional material done. I do not have much information about these though.
I hope to be able to collect more poster goodies in the coming months.
Cheers!!!!

The art on those Hanumans are great, never seen them before so congrats, a fabulous collection. Actually I think Randy used to have a couple of friendly Thai dealers he has dealt with, I'll share this thread with him and he may be able to offer some help.
