Sex Sells...

  • An oldtimer once told me, "Your collection's not worth snot without one of these..."
    Artwork by Boris Vallejo, 1985

  • But having Barbarian Queen, I just had to get one of these to balance off Brude Jr.'s nursery.
    Artist again Boris Vallejo, 1987

And they all needed some entertainment...
Don't know the artist for this 1986 version, but its a ripper of a poster...

Or Bardot as painted by Jon Whitcomb in 1957?

I love this, not as much as the negligee version however...
  • Yes, the negligee is quite the reveal. Do you have one?
  • I wish...

Howzabout Tawny Kitaen in The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak (1984)?

That will do it Ted! Those queen posters are also very cool!
  • I am interested to know who got your Cleo too?
  • I'm glad I found this thread when I did, because while I was posting here, another desirable lady was winging her way to my arboreal lair.
I'd been searching for an affordable copy for some time and was lucky enough to score an unfolded, VF condition copy of one my favorite GG movie posters of all time -- Tom Chantrell's quad version of Marilyn for this 1976 documentary starring Misty Rowe as the legendary superstar.

This is the seller's pic and the poster just arrived in the last hour.

  • Great timing!
  • You know it, Charlie.
I was just about to head into town for weekend supplies.
If I left when planned, I would have missed Mr. FedEx and Marilyn would be in shipping limbo/hell til Monday.
And that would've been unacceptable to say the least.

    No one.

  • Oh my, Charlie.
You should ship those to me before your daughter sees them.
    ;)
  • Still not sure who did this rendering of Serena back in 1979.
    Any ideas?

You still have it?  Good man.
    Please post that pic, dagnabbit.
  • I want to see the backside of the Cleo, David.

I have Samantha...printed by M.A.P.S printers of a gazillion daybills, technically not a movie poster...so I will take it down if you prefer.

  • Crikey, this thread took off since Ted got back..
  • Best keep it up....  ;-)

  • The Classic...

  • So much Chantrell beauty, Paul.
I was wondering where those lovely quads of yours were hiding.
    Well played, sir.
  • One Million/She - been on my list a long time.
  • Same here, but the price has gone stupid so I went another route.
I've always wanted the SHE Italian 1p with art by Enzo Nistri, which... I just acquired here...

  • Oh wow, ain't that just super....

    On my want list. Bastard
  • So so nice that one million quad Paul

Lovely Ted. Italians sure know how to produce some fantastic, unique artwork.
