  • I love the history on that stuff Chris, great package there!

    Two super rare quads IMO:

Interested to hear what the Quadmaster has to say about these two because I know the Monte Carlo is super rare in any format...and the Crawford is popping with colour!
  • Thanks Matt & David!

Sorry for being a bit slow chaps, been in Hospital most of last week, long story, but hopefully on the mend...

Nice pick ups Charlie, two you don't see very often. I have seen more Monte Carlo Babys, than the Johnny Guitar poster. Almost sent Charlie a link to a Monte last year, but thought he'd not like the rendition of miss Hepburn, just shows what I know...

Really liking those Chris, I may have to pop over and nick that 20th C one..... ;)

Must be just me not buying at the moment, though I do love seeing you guys work.
  • Oh Paul I hope you are on the mend. Thanks for your comments!

    Chin up mate!
  • Did we change Avatars?
  • Not yet. Waiting for Charlie actually.

I think I might have suggested this in a previous post... Because you are right, it's not my favorite look (her teeth are too much) but better than anything else out there that I have ever seen. There is probably an Italian or double crown that may top it.
  • Very nice quads Charlie! Not sure if this is the thread to ask, or if I've missed it somewhere else, but where do you all buy your posters? I've purchased off of EMP, HA (reluctantly with the 19.5% gouge); have browsed on MoviePosterBid & Movie Poster Exchange & am kinda familiar with some retail places. I read that Charlie not-too-kindly critique some UK auction site I've never heard of, so wondering if there are other auction site you could steer me to. Many thanks! Mark
  • I am 80% eBay and 20% EMP...  I have bought from MPE and MPB but it just takes too much work to follow those.  I suppose bidll.com is now an option...

Best deals are on eBay plus it is very dynamic and you can use tools to help find gems.
  • If your looking for Quads I suggest the following dealers and auction sites

  • Thanks guys, I've been browsing on ebay off and on for the last 3 hrs. Interesting; definitely looks like a lot of variety. Will take some time for me to figure out how to browse & find what I'm looking for.

Thanks Mr. Waines - hope you are feeling better.  Try to take it easy on the missus next time eh?  ;))
  • Killer quads Charlie!
  • And hope you are feeling better Paul. Should I send you a couple bottles of wine to help with the recovery?
    ;)
  • I wish you could Matias, I'm off it for now.... :(  but thanks for the thought..

And thanks for the good wishes, and tip Chris..

Is Simon Dwyer our Simon from APF?
  • I didn't think Simon Dwyer was on APF. ..Uhm. ...I wasn't impressed with him when I met him to see his PFLS. . (:|
