ESB video poster - is it that rare?
I saw this Empire Strikes Back video poster sell on emovieposter for $1600USD ($2279A).
It prompted a mad search to find my copy. I eventually found it consigned to a storage tub in the garage. I had no idea it would be worth so much, even if mine has some damage

I saw an excellent stage play version in Sydney in 1991 which starred famed British film actor Richard Todd. I'd say it was so they had a wider audience to view the film in it's initial release, same reason why there was a PG rated version of Saturday Night Fever released after the first release to get a younger audience, who wanted to see it, but couldn't when it was rated R, although that was done after the first release (but still to get more bums on seats).
