Way back in the 70s, the US made a half hearted attempt at converting to the metric system. At one time there was a mileage sign south of Seattle marking the 10 miles/16 kilometers to the Emerald City. Failed miserably, much to my regret. Been here…

It was one of my holy grails. First saw it twentyish years ago at one of the Fanex shows in Baltimore. It's been a long chase but finally paid off (actually I paid out)

When I mat and frame a poster I always display the fine print and the registration marks if possible. To me it's important part of the piece, but that's just cranky old Lynn.
