(Quote) Definitely Sven, Roger has been messaging me continually throughout the process, so can't see me straying away from Studio C anytime soon. The only drawback of having so much restored in one hit (apart from the billJust got a couple of progress shots from Roger of two of the seven I've lumbered him with before Christmas
and might… Great pickups all, really nice King Creole Craig and Some Like It Hot Rick.Surprised the NZ censor didn't delete the unintentional boob grab
It goes so well with your tattoo
The restored one will be posted up here in a week or soSame as above, I'm sure that many of us (even the silent lurkers) gain a great deal of knowledge from your answers Lawrence.(Quote) If you hover your cursor over it doesn't it display the member who actioned it?(Quote) Agree with Mark. Those two are awesome!(Quote) Damn, thought I could prize that one off of you

CONGRATS! loved the look of the biplane one. Thanks for the prompt response Bruce. I suppose for the collector who buys purely based on artistic merit rather than an affiliation with a certain title/actor/genre will always battle it out for something as nice as the "FIGHTING FOOL", so I suppos…(Quote) Also available to watch on YouTube for those into WW2 titles.

The general vibe I get from forums or FB groups is that westerns are a dead duck, whether it's due to a generational divide/vast reduction in released titles since pre 1970's or the non PC content of the good guys (usually white) fighting the bad gu…Did you attend Sven?
Well your Aussie Herald has her as Jocelyn Howarth (film name Constance Worth).

Although it doesn't appear they were as nice or that the other two in the set have materialised before (although they may have elsewhere).(Quote) Thanks Matt, the Monolith is the nicer of the two, also luckily both are only tri-folded, so with the exception of creasing and a water mark on the Dinosaurus, they should frame well 'as is'.The central face reminds me of the 1988 movie 'They Live', with the great line ""I've come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum."in Lack of stock posters Comment by Wil November 2018
I've had these two a little while now, however I don't think I've thrown them up in here before?
A little bit 'armature/crude' in appearance, but for me it certainly adds to their charmin November 2018 Comment by Wil November 2018
(Quote) Nice detective work Lawrence. Certainly a nice looking daybill.
Although quite sizeable and I originally believed them to be from a One Sheet, the matching fold line crease across Grants forehead leads me to believe mine are al…Not the full on wallpaper effect like Mel goes for, but certainly breaks up the whiteness of the place.(Quote) Different title, however it stated that silly symphony cartoons were rerun in Australia in the 50's.
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/arc…@Hondo Thanks Lawrence, I couldn't make out the wording under the date and assumed that title may give it away? I didn't actually think to check a calendar@Matt - "Great door panels. Are you going to cover every inch of your house in posters? lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that"
Not every inch, but…(Quote) @HONDO Maybe this information written on the rear will help you date it Lawrence?

Fair point Matt. Although I've no intention to bid and certainly enjoyed looking at those early Aussie Daybills, I'm sure they've now got more eyes casing them out. Fingers crossed they still end up remaining in Australia.(Quote) Thanks Rock, until checking out the 2 that sold via Bruce some years ago I'd never seen them before.
I'm guessing the other two weren't very popular at the time so weren't retained.(Quote) I tend to ignore the questions as they tend to direct it at her (as if I don't exist). They purposely ignore my hangings whenever they visit (but I'm sure they discuss the hell out of them in the car on the way home(Quote) That's the plan Matt
