Does your contact have any info r.e the orange Mad Max one sheets?

I had a press sheet for Once Were Warriors, but don't recall seeing many Aust posters. Had the sequel poster for What Becomes of the Broken Hearted.

Word's out and you aren't fooling anyone mate.

Sometimes the one sheets were miles ahead. I reckon all the vintage sci-fi scaled up better (except for Invis Boy that wasn't full colour).
His comebacks are about as good as his mate's.My original comment was that Aust one sheets are a safer bet in regard to declining value due to multiple posters turning up. I believe that is also the gist of this thread. There are at l…What's the old saying about birds of a feather? Here's a good one sheet for your collection. Hang it up at the end of your bed.
You guys should listen to him. He learnt off one of the best.New people come in but few aspire to the level of collecting Uni Horror daybills. Most just pick up titles they remember from their youth or that have some other nostalgic value. There is more awareness, but I don't think the hobby itself is exp…I'm at peace with my own mind, and that's all that matters to me. Others can think what they like.(Quote) I'm sensing an ethical debate raging in the various VMPF minds!(Quote) No new car then? :P(Quote)
Rolled Stone advance you say?Done deal. I'll swap for 2 x Harry & The Hendersons!Make it 5 plus Mr Mom!(Quote) Drumming fingers on keyboard ...August coming to end ...Old one sheets seem a pretty safe bet. That's if you can ever find them for good titles. Certainly rare for Aust stuff. Not much chance of 5 x Prince & Showgirl one sheets turning up anytime!I think a lot of cinemas ordered five daybills at a time. I've certainly found them in lots like that on plenty of occasions. They probably had one or two out front, one or two in the lobby plus a spare.Once finds like that turn up the values p…Darn technology ... *grumble grumble*Looks like a pretty big wave surge swept through! In '86 I was working in the vaults & libraries of the Aust Film Commission (now Screen Australia).I don't think anyone who saw Sam Fox would forget her in hurry! You do realise this internetty thing is a visual medium?????I think David should be banned for showing daybills rolled up!Roadshow vs Hoyts distributionI call them photo sheets, although they were described differently depending on the distributor.Holding out for the ultra high end stuff, huh? Something like terror dripping with gore!
Any Kiwi posters?Picked up a spare for Chris. (Don't want him feeling left out on the rare stuff).
Two votes for Brigitte. Obviously had a lot of trouble with her hair?
Picked up this Aus Blues Bros yesterday. Does anyone know when it's from?
Timeless appeal on that Planet & much more impressive in a one sheet. If a poster hasn't deteriorated in seventy or eighty years, then isn't that just adding risk? Are you going to have posters backed for preservation in future?Mad Max & Back to the Future rate pretty high.
