More problems with Hotmail. I have sent three emails to a customer about an enquiry and he keeps sending messages saying "why don't you reply to my emails?" Out of desperation, I finally managed to contact him by sending a paypal money request! To t…

Interesting observations Lawrence. I think that these posters came from an Australian dealer but there is actually nothing to identify them as Australian as far as I can see. He had a lot of surfing posters in quantity and they seem to be turning up…

(Quote) It was from NSW. Interesting that both styles of Lolita French framed posters are being offered from NSW.

Coincidentally, I was offered this framed Lolita poster recently also framed. I explained to the owner that this was almost certainly a 1980s repro#145 is A French Vampire in America aka Innocent BloodYes, I've been watching the count very closely.(Quote) Good idea!
I initially posted a query about authenticating a poster but decided to delete it soon after posting because I am expecting more information soon.

You can filter the searches so they only show up items in a specific area and ebay can notify you by email when something comes u…Master Race 1944 RKO four star 3 Sheetin ''RKO 4 Star Logo Australian Poster Discussion'' (formerly the Dating the Wonder Man One Sheet) Comment by John May 2016
I agree with Lawrence that they are unlikely to be Australian. Maybe they could be described as "undated, origin unknown, post war"!(Quote)
Many thanks!thanks SvenThere are certainly Indian three sheets. I have one for Vertigo which has been variously dated as 60s, 70s or even 80s.Back in the 90s a few dealers in Australia received large bundles of posters from Indian dealers. They found the names of the dealers from John Kisch's price guide. There was a note inside saying something like "please pay me what you think these ar…Thanks Bruce. The boards I use are triple cushion, very thick and can't be bent. They are certainly heavier but I can send a flat package with a few daybills that weighs slightly under 500g. That works OK for Australian orders. The supplier just dou…Lawrence, what do you think? Is there any way it could be Australian? The fact that you contact the buyers whenever a mistake is identified is very commendable and I certainly don't know of any major auction that does that. The extra tough are the largest tubes and they are fine for postage. They are long enough to be cut in half if required to send linen backed daybills, etc. I buy them in bulk but I think they cost about $5.00 each.
The bottom l…I use a combination of tubes from different suppliers. If you sell low value items on ebay, buyers virtually dictate that the cost of postage must be low. Buyers on ebay will not accept paying 50.00 postage for a 10.00 poster. I have rarely had…That's also my understanding of how the HA policy works and it is quite reasonable.
I agree with you David. It is now clear that the original research was far from complete and it has taken some time to come up with revised information since then. There is still no press book to prove the theory and doubt still exists.
The tubes I use are definitely recyclable but I don't know about the boards. I get them cut to size and they are very strong. Is there any evidence that it is Australian?
(Quote) That's where the comments that Bruce made earlier are very significant. I think it would have to be described as undated and many other Australian posters from that era might also get a similar vague description. It might be a bit like HA …
