Some more double bill daybills but you would think there should be a lot more considering the many double feature posters that were released in the UK and US

I can't recall seeing many double bill daybills from the many thousands of posters I have had over the years. I think that the Tiger Likes Fresh Blood (1964) and Bite Of The Gorilla (1962) daybill is a very rare example but would love to see other s…

Dr No / Goldfinger and Funny Car Summer / On the Line are NZ release but interesting examples. I have probably had more double bill daybills but have never put them into a specific folder so they hard to search for. I will be interested to see what …

As to the word color, they again just used the American English. Of course, the word "Technicolor" was a registered trademark so that could not be altered even if they thought that color should have a "u". Interestingly, "Technicolor" was officially…

Here is another example. The film was released with the American / English spelling "A Very Special Favor". In Australia, we would spell favor with a "u" but the distributors would be unlikely to change the official title so they went with the Ameri…

(Quote) These spelling anomalies were very common. They used the American version of English many times with movies that were produced in the US and shown in Australia. It really is beyond me why it was felt that the English language needed t…

Brass Key and Pattern for Murder each 1000 daybills. Roses Are Red 1015. In the collection there are some one sheets and dabills that have as few as 200 - 400 posters. No idea why they would print more for obscure films like Pattern for Murder and B…

Pattern for Murder daybill - another rare Ray Films poster from the F. Cunninghame collection. There are many others in these 50s one colour styles from MGM, Universal, IFD, London Films and more. Pattern for Murder and The Brass Key were 1955 Briti…

I picked up a collection of posters that originated from the private collection of the owner of F. Cunninghame printers. They printed many posters for Universal, Ray Films and Blake Films in the 50s including this one. Interestingly, he often not…

Here are the one sheets for Cell Block 11 and Caged
I have Australian one sheets for Caged and Riot in Cell Block 11 so you would think there must have been daybills as well
Well, actually she was known as Me Me Lai, Meme Lay, and Me Me Lay. Eaten Alive took scenes from the film Sacrifice aka Man From Deep River where she was billed as Me Me Lay so it is quite understandable that she was billed as Me Me Lay on Eaten Ali…Well, not sure that it is an error. According to a few sites she was billed alternatively as Me Me Lai (born 3 November 1951), sometimes billed as Me Me Lay or Meme Lay. According to imdb she was billed in the film as Marayå (as Me Me Lay)Thats probably the best plan for such a short trip. There will be plenty to do in Sydney! Here is the Australian one sheet for Journey Out of Darkness complete with screening details!

(Quote) I think the earliest is 1926 so far. I do have a few more from the 20s and will add them when I get some time.(Quote) Yes indeed

Something even earlier. Not really a pressbook but a guide to films in Jan 1916 with synopsis of various movies. Has anyone come across these before?
