Welcome Kurt! Agree with you re Daybills and Inserts! Aussie paper has great artwork!

Wowza!
Hot Car Girl is fantastic! And Ves is right, those inserts, all hanging in a row will look great… -
I also had some time to start another awesome looking Daybill.
This 1971 Shaft Daybill was in nice shape with the exception of a small tear in the upper left border.in The Eisenhower Linenbacking Experience... Comment by Eisenhower January 2020

It’s been quite a while as I had to temporarily halt operations for wee bit but had some time recently to begin, work on and complete a few projects.

Yeah, not sure who uses actual linen, but most use cotton duck canvas. Unprimmed. I get mine from Jerry's Artarama. 60x30, 12oz; although I've read some use 14oz, i get nice results from the 12oz.
Masa, i use a soft white, 70gsm, pliable… -
Welcome Mark! Sounds like your collecting some good decades, and Daybills? You've hit the nail on the head there!
Welcome, Damien. Look forward to hearing some of your insights into collecting, and seeing some of your paper.good post, Charlie. Cant even imagine how many lives have, will be affected. Thoughts and prayers to all involved and effected. Our California fires seem to pale in comparison.Oh my!. Fires which move quickly by wind cause so much damage and loss of life. We have fires that occur every year in California. Thoughts and prayers to those affected.(Quote) Can you post pictures of what you’re working on? Is your canvas stretched tight enough on the frame?Welcome, Justin!
Although I did about 9 to 12 months of reading and research before I began my restoration journey, Charlie certainly was the key difference in confirming, and correcting the process by which I today linenback posters. <…nice, Mel!

were sitting pretty with 67 during the days. :-)
good stuff, Charlie. And i agree very much as i used the same tip. I glue/paste my masa paper to my canvas, and then wait a day or two until it is completely dry, then lay the poster down. The fold lines have been noticeably flatter than before.
