I believe one of the 3 additional listed sold via Best Offer very quickly. But no idea what amount that might have been. It would make some sense it was the underbidder from the initial auction though...

Hi Greg - great to see you popping in here. Welcome!

Is "sheeter" (as in One Sheeter) ever used in US press material? I know it was used a lot on Aussie stuff...

Theodore Bruce auctioned the GWTW poster in question as well as this "Publicity" material

(Quote) Do you by chance have a link to the press sheet in the auction? I actually looked through the auction earlier thinking the press sheet might be there but I did not come across it for some reason!

For the record the date noted on the poster is at least accurate April 25, 26, 27 - 1944 were indeed a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Well now I don’t know. HA lists that US poster (without the added printed tag line or snipe(?)) as a 1939 Roadshow release:It looks just like the 1941 US OS:

I am fairly certain this is the copy that sold for $4,100 US from Bruce in 2013.I cannot see a valid reason why it should have appreciated over two times that amount in 8 years...unless of course someone buys it(Quote) I think 3 is the hard quota so be careful with anymore pressiesAwesome pickups Charlie!Great post Charlie and can enjoy the restoration on that poster all day!Watched Mank 2020 which I thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent! A fantastic performance by Gary Oldman. And as a significant added bonus there were many scenes capturing 1930s postersWow that's cool Jay!
If not hopefully the new owner is willing to continue the quest!Came across the Aussie OS for this in my cyber travels:(Quote) ^

Just have to shift through those Everyone's magazines and find a full pic!
Mondo peeps probably thought Bruce’s auctions ran like a typical mondo release ???For me a major issue is that I don’t trust the alleged limited print run #s.Since these were created as commercial items and artificially made “scarce†(allegedly) from the beginning there just seems to be too many oppo…Thanks Sven(Quote) *Quickly calculates frequent flyer miles*Except all the good ones have been sold now
