Re: The Horror Quiz
Correct and well worked out. The film was made as a theatrical film, but how it got a green light to be made amazes me.jayn_j said:238 is Night of the Lepus (1972)
Really bad film about giant killer bunny rabbits. I recall this asap TV movie, but imdb says there was a theatrical release f8rst
Posters and trailers for the movie did not feature any rabbits. Marketers feared that audiences would not take the movie seriously if they found out about the giant killer rabbits too quickly. ( IMDb )

Image this image on a film poster. and then the stampede to cinemas that it would have created.

But wait there's more. This interesting re-titled poster from what appears to be West Germany combined traditional rabbit teeth with multiple bottom teeth including two large fangs. Apart from the two top teeth the animal image doesn't look at all like a rabbit.

A frightening scene of marauding mutant rabbits as it appears in the film.

I don't have time to open packages... Yours is still leaning in the foyer. I opened about 6 the other day but didn't have time to snap the photos.

At my age, I am more thinking about selling items than buying them! It happens to EVERY collector eventually (unless they pass away first).

Re: Jedda
Thanks John for pointing this out. I just read the original daybill quote at the top of the sellers page and didn't scrole down to the measurements listed further down the page. And the seller is asking $ 475 Australian for this poster. The poster on the right is misrepresented on eBay - clearly not an original daybill but some sort of framed repro measuring approx 6" x 14"

Teaming up with Bruce to completely corner the market - they’re just hashing out what to do about a buyer’s premium
Re: Hondo's This And That
Thanks for the additional information.
O.k., I now believe that I have solved the story behind this poster.
A ) Take one original Australian The Giant Claw daybill poster design.
B ) Remove the Giant Claw action image only from the daybill and substitute this original image with the new Giant Claw only image, leaving everything else exactly the same on the amended poster.
C ) Stretch all the original credits out to create a new size poster design.
