Re: Hondo's This And That
Thanks John for posting the U.S. insert poster image and including your rare interview with Desmond Tester.
As Desmond Tester talked about the dog on the bus in the film I thought I would include a gif showing the dog being patted.

On the subject of Val Lewton a rare copy of the Cat People daybill is currently up for auction by Bruce. With 16 days and 1 hour remaining the current bid is a whopping $1,450. One has to wonder what price it will sell for when the auction finishes.

One has to ponder how much the missing and the rarest three daybills I Walked With A Zombie, The Curse Of The Cat People and Isle Of The Dead would fetch if they ever happened to surface on either emovieposter or Heritage Auctions?
Re: War Movies Quiz
Apparently it's the castle one....I didn't read past the camp bit! Guess I have to watch the film now.
Re: War Movies Quiz
I reckon we change this to "Let's try to stump Wil on war movies".
Re: Hondo's This And That
Hondo, I think you're mistaken. The New Zealand release poster you're referring to above was actually the little known House on Haunted Hill vs 2001: A Space Odyssey sequel. Unfortunately they spoiled the surprise by putting the monolith on the poster.HONDO said:
We thought we were badly done by with the Australian artwork, but look above at the U.S.A. one sheet used in New Zealand by a different distributor over there.
People viewing this poster must have though what is behind the curtain?
