Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films
Vincent is a documentary film that I didn't list the title of for missng Paul Coxfilm posters. If you have easy access to the poster an image of it would be great to see.dedeposter saidI'm pretty sure I don't have those, I think it's just Man of Flowers, My First Wife and Vincent. They were the posters he had in abundance so wouldn't let me have any others, so I'd suggest the others were very small print runs for the limited distribution his films normally had.

Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films

Another rare Australian one sheet poster for Molokai The Story of Father Damien from 1999. Again this poster has ''A Film By Paul Cox'' printed on it.

Re: The Science Fiction Quiz
As a lot of the entries here in this quiz are often difficult to answer I sometimes, as in this case, include an easy one from time to time.. I will also add that what may seem easy for some isn't always the case with others though.dedeposter said:I'll take a break from this one. 248 is far too easy for me!

Re: The Science Fiction Quiz
Correct for 247. Good research then to find the answer. This film was released by the poverty row distributor Astor Pictures Corporation. I am sure the poster artwork would have be much better than the film itself.dedeposter said:Got it then...Missile to the Moon (1958). Just had to search for films with giant spiders in them!

Re: The Comedy Quiz
Correct, so the last clue would appear to have assisted. so well done. Betty Hutton played famous female silent serial star Pearl White in the film.dedeposter said:C9 - The Perils of Pauline (1947)?

Re: Hondo's Daybill and One Sheet Q&A [Re-Titled]
I think there's so much inconsistency with Australian film distribution that nothing surprises me. Everyone did things their own way and it wouldn't surprise me if different people within the same organisation put their own stamp on the types of posters and materials printed.
NSS in the US at least had (more) consistent sizes of posters.

Re: A Do You Know Your Classic Movies Quiz.
Correct so well done, I thought the Bogart clue would hopefully assist, which it did.dedeposter said:667 - The Enforcer (1951)

Bob Steele seen on the right hand side of the above image.
Following is the another film where Bob Steele appeared in a Bogart film The Big Sleep in 1946,
Bob Steele as seen below played Trooper Duffy in the television series F Troop in 63 episodes between 1965 and 1967. He also was a prolific B movie cowboy actor in the 1920s through to the 1940s, and acted in 198 films from 1920 to 1974 in starring roles down to uncredited bit parts in the later part of his career.
