Maybe they used stock posters for smaller releases? I assume those films would have had limited release? Or were people beating down the doors to go see another Chick Chandler film?

Surely it can't have been that expensive in those days to print something up? Maybe they just did a very small print run?

The Spotlight (1927),The Racket (1928) and The Letter (1929) Australian W. E. Smith printed daybill images from the 1920s. These are three examples of a number of daybills that I have image for of W.E.Smith printed posters from the '20s

This rare long daybill (along with other Sherlock Holmes Australian one sheets) has surfaced at Heritage.
I have a few questions on the printer details I would appreciate your input on
1) Did WE Smith exist in the early 1930s?
2) Have you ever seen other daybill examples that have "Lithographed &" preceding the "Printed By W.E. Smith..."
3) The dots between the "W" and "E" are centre aligned rather than bottom aligned.
