Re: Hondo's This And That
I'm just browsing through a 9th May 1928 Everyone's for long daybill images (a common pastime) in Trove and I came across two rather impressive window displays for Mother Machree.
What stood out, was that in between the three long daybills on the left and beside the One Sheet on the right, you have a thinner/shorter poster. Which, going off of the Lobby Card 14" width that it sits over and One Sheet length as a guide, it looks to be almost the same size as the later slim Paramount 10x30's. Has anyone come across this size before?
Also, another one of the same smaller dimensions (now horizonal format) is sat over the One Sheet.

This second display uses these two smaller format 'daybills'? in far greater numbers.

The caption mentions a Music Shop, so possibly a special soundtrack poster?

Possibly US One Sheets (although the text directly below each title is different) but not inserts.

Visiting Filming Locations and meeting Cast members
I have started a series of articles on my website www.moviemem.com featuring some of the Filming Locations that I have visited over the years and linking these with meeting some of the cast members of the films. I commenced with Hitchcock and some of the iconic and memorable locations from The Birds, Shadow of a Doubt and Psycho

I absolutely agree with John in basing yourself in Sydney. There are many great day trips apart from what the city has to offer.

Thats probably the best plan for such a short trip. There will be plenty to do in Sydney!

Re: Questions for Bruce-EMP
Well it's ended now, mostly while I was asleep. Casablanca I thought would've been the highest, but Most Dangerous Game deserves it given how rare it is.

Re: Rare Australian Posters Of Australian Films
I was a voracious watcher of TV back then, my parents would let me stay up and watch IMT with Graham Kennedy, and shows like Sunnyside Up, so I would have seen any publicity done for it back then.
